These two vendors will give you a random item - Blacksmith gear and Trader Artifacts in exchange for Emeralds. Gear includes armor, bows, and weapons while Artifacts are temporary power-ups like Boots of Swiftness and Flaming Quivers. There is nothing else you can buy with Emeralds, at least in the Beta, so don't hoard them. Buy new gear whenever you have money.
4. Turn unused equipment into Emeralds
Equipment and Artifacts only have a few stats, and the only one you need to care about is level. The higher the level of equipment, the better. In Minecraft Dungeons, you can't sell equipment you don't need, but you can remove it from your inventory. This turns any items you pick up into Emeralds, which you can then trade for better equipment.
5. Get back Enchantment points
Every time you level up, you get 1 Enchantment Point. You use these points from your inventory to unlock random perks for your gear. However, you don't need to save these points to wait for better gear. When you use an enchanted piece of gear, you get a few emeralds and all the Enchantment Points you spent before. This means you can swap out gear and enchant it instantly.
6. Use ranged weapons for enemies at a distance
There are no weapon classes in Minecraft Dungeons, so you'll need to use everything at your disposal to take down your enemies. You'll have both melee and ranged weapons (and a bunch of Artifacts to buff). You'll get into a lot of melee combat and head-to-head combat with enemies from a distance.
To be successful, you will need to use both melee and ranged weapons and constantly switch between them. Use melee weapons to deal with close-range enemies and let the bows handle the Skeleton Archers and Geomancers.
7. Don't forget the map
Aside from killing mobs and freeing villagers, Minecraft Dungeons is all about exploration. Every level is complex and full of dead ends, branching paths, and tunnels. Exploring every part of the map means you'll find all the secret chests and get as much loot as possible.
Tapping the D-pad will pull up a map outline on the screen. It looks a bit confusing, but you can see where you're going and any detours you should explore.
In addition, players can explore more mysterious maps.
