MacBooks can come back using Nvidia chips
Upgrading MacBooks early next year may return to using Nvidia instead of AMD over the past 3 years.
The MacBook series will return to using Nvidia chips from early next year.
Sources from Slashgear said Apple could return to using Nvidia graphics processing chips in 2012 MacBook lines. The change could come immediately in the early upgrade when Apple laptops will also refresh with the The next generation Intel processor is Ivy Bridge .
Apple no longer partnered with Nvidia about three years ago after switching to AMD chipsets. However, recent problems came when Apple had difficulty getting AMD Llano support in the MacBook Air. Obstructing the upgrade of graphics capabilities in the line of good sales may have led Apple back to cooperate with Nvidia.
Thanks to the graphics performance of the integrated chip that came with the Intel Core i second-generation processor, it was better than before, so "Apple" last year boldly used some of its MacBook Air models. However, when ultrabooks were born with higher competitiveness, the company probably needed significant upgrades. Recent rumors also suggest that the MacBook Air will add a 15-inch version (or the 15-inch MacBook Pro will be lighter than before).
Apple as well as Nvidia and AMD have not released any official announcements about this information.
