How to Tell a Convincing Scary Story

1. 
   Get your audience's attention. Say something like "Hey, did you guys hear about the legend of...?"

   1. Most people enjoy hearing news they didn't know before. Make it sound like a rumor or big news. Humans are usually very curious.
2. 
   Gather everyone in one group. This is very important as you don't want your audience to wander off to the little shack next door.

   1. It helps to motion your audience to come by using hand gestures.
   2. You could even say something such as "Gather round, young ones, and listen here..."
3. 
   Start telling your convincing scary story. It is very important to use hand gestures here. This is optional, but it is recommended.
4. 
   Continue to tell your scary story in this way. Repeat the last two steps as necessary.
5. 
   Finish your scary story with a flourish. Make a twist ending, like "But this is only a legend... or IS it...!"
