How to find materials to upgrade weapons in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

In AC Valhalla you can find weapons across England and Norway that it's so hard to choose which one you will use to defeat the Saxons. Choosing an appropriate weapon is just the beginning. You also need to hunt for many different materials to upgrade your sword, sword or ax, to make them even more deadly.

1. How to find a weapon in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Unlike Assassin's Creed Odyssey, enemies do not drop weapons in Valhalla. Instead, look for the yellow Wealth Markers marker on your map, specifically the ones that resemble a cloaked assassin. They indicate that there is a chest with armor or a weapon inside. You'll often have to solve puzzles or face off against a tough foe to get your hands on that chest, so make sure you're ready.

After opening the chest, you will receive a piece of armor or a weapon. Notice the little sign that appears when you view a weapon in the menu, it will be marked with a crow, wolf or bear. They correspond to three fighting schools in Valhalla: Stealth, Ranged and Heavy. This is important because in the skill menu, you can purchase the Way of the X buttons, which provide the ability to enhance equipment marked by the mark of that class. For example, players with skills in the Golden Raven will deal much more damage when using a Raven weapon than a Bear weapon.

The best approach is to find the weapon you like to use that corresponds to the school of skill you are applying. Remember that the skill tree can be reset for free in the pause menu, but weapon upgrades are permanent and irreversible.

After you have chosen a weapon that corresponds to your class, go to the blacksmith. If you have left Norway, there is another blacksmith outside the Longhouse where you can use the crows to find this place. When you go to England and have your settlement, quickly build a tent for the blacksmith. When construction is complete, you will find it on the left side on the main road between the pier and the long house. Talk to the blacksmith and he will give you a prompt to upgrade your equipment for a price.

Upgrading weapons consumes resources. Players can earn resources by finding the Wealth chest markers on the map, with symbols that look like 3 gold bars. Smashing these chests will give you Carbon Ingots, Nickel Ingots, and Tungsten Ingots that you can use to upgrade your weapon's rank. Each rank changes the weapon's appearance and usually adds a position for the runes. Leather and Iron Ore can be found everywhere in the world. As long as you have a habit of looting enemies, locations and buildings, you will always collect a large amount of these 2 ingredients. Titanium and Fabric normally appear in settlements later in the game, but you can also obtain them by opening special chests and defeating the mini-bosses you encounter across the UK.

4. How to farm ingredients in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

The premium resources used to level up a weapon like Carbon, Nickel and Tungsten Ingots are limited and determined by Wealth markers on the map in each region. Players can also earn some materials by completing quests, such as providing animal parts to Hunter's Shack in exchange for resources.

On the other hand, you can farm some of the more common resources. Leather can be harvested from animals, so go hunting if you start to run out of skin. Iron Ore can be found in shiny Obsidian rocks on the slopes and you can smash them to get iron ore with your weapon. Fabric is housed in special chests, usually in solid buildings, and Titan can be found all over the world, though you need a little extra luck.
