Connect the end of the HDMI cable to the PC. The HDMI slot is usually located behind a desktop computer's CPU, or on the side of a laptop keyboard.
Some PCs can use HDMI ports, others use mini HDMI or MiniDisplay ports.
With mini HDMI and MiniDisplay cables, one end will be a mini HDMI or MiniDisplay plug to plug into a computer, the other end will be a regular size HDMI cable.
Not all computers have an HDMI port. Some older computers use VGA or DVI cables. You can connect these cables to the HDMI port on your TV using a separate adapter and audio cable. If the laptop doesn't support HDMI or video out, you can purchase a USB-to-HDMI adapter. You may need to install additional software on your PC.
