Genshin Impact: How to unlock endings in Ningguang's companion event

Ningguang was one of the game's first Geo characters, but it wasn't until the latest Genshin Impact 2.4 update that Ningguang got his Companion Event. In this article, learn how to unlock Ningguang's Hangout Event endings in Genshin Impact.

How to unlock the Companion Event in Genshin Impact

Each character has 5 or 6 different endings to their events, depending on the player's choices. To collect rewards (including character experience points, food, and Primogem Primers), gamers need to unlock all endings. Hangout Events will not be locked behind any of the time portals, so players can spend their time doing them whenever they want.

To unlock a character's Companion Event, everyone will need to use 2 Story Keys. For every 8 Daily Commission you will get 1 Story Key, so it takes 4 days to unlock a character story. Once unlocked, the player will not need to use any more keys.

To access the Hangout Event, open the log and click Story Quest in the bottom left corner. Click the tab with a book icon to select the Hangout Event you want to perform. Currently characters with Companion Events are:

1. Noelle
2. Chongyun
3. Bennett
4. Barbara
5. Thomas
6. Sayu
7. Beidou
8. Gorou
9. Yun Jin
10. Ningguang

After completing the first route, the story can continue from where it started, so gamers won't have to start all over again just to have different endings.

To pick up at a specific point, click the task you want to continue, then select Begin Hangout. During playback, the game will show which lines everyone has chosen, helping everyone find different paths to the ending.

End 1: While the View Remains Good

The story will not start with Ningguang, but the player needs to talk to an assistant named Baishi.

The Hangout begins with the Traveler helping to rebuild the Gem Chamber. Once there, the player needs to start chatting with Ningguang and the assistants. Choose the following answers to get to the first conclusion:

Players will gain a hidden achievement if they catch 7 fish

The 4th finish in Ningguang's Companion Event will require the player to go with her to collect treasure and go fishing on the holidays.
