Galaxy S26 series has strong competitors before launch

Vivo is one of the fastest growing brands in China and is also gaining recognition globally. The Vivo X200 series has been a huge success for the company.

The Vivo X200 series is quite successful.

That is why the technology world hopes that Vivo X300 will be superior to its predecessors. It is expected that the Vivo X200 series will launch these products:

- Vivo X200 Ultra

- Vivo X200s

They will of course be launched initially in China but there is no official word on a global launch yet.

In the foldable phone segment, the company is also developing the Vivo X Fold 4, which could launch around mid-2025.

In the second half of this year, Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X300 series, which will include 4 versions, including: 2 low-cost versions and 2 high-end versions:

- Vivo X300

- Vivo X300 Pro Mini

- Vivo X300 Pro

- Vivo X300 Ultra

Given how popular the X200 Pro Mini is in the compact phone segment, these phones will definitely be on par with the upcoming Galaxy S26. The Vivo X200 Pro Mini is sleek, powerful, has a pretty great camera, offers fast charging, has excellent battery life - it could give the Galaxy S26 a run for its money!

Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro Mini will come with flat screens. The higher-end smartphones, the Vivo X300 Pro and VIvo X300 Ultra, could feature larger four-sided curved screens.

The reason behind this difference is based on hardware limitations and the way the internal components are arranged. Specifically, a 200 megapixel periscope camera with a sensor that would be too large for smaller phone models, so only high-end smartphone versions will have this feature.

The Vivo X300 series is expected to launch in October 2025. In addition to the Ultra model, other versions may be equipped with the next-generation Dimensity 9500 chip. In particular, the top-end Vivo X300 Ultra will launch in the first half of 2026 with the extremely powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip.
