Experience Xiaomi Watch Color with round watch face, 1.39 inch AMOLED screen, 420mAh battery

Recently, the Chinese tech giant has launched a new smartwatch called Xiaomi Watch Color with a different round face design.

Xiaomi Watch Color is equipped with a 1.39 inch AMOLED screen with a diameter of about 47mm, with a resolution of 454x454, a pixel density of 326ppi for good colors.

The circular glass of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla 3rd generation toughened glass that helps prevent scratches.

The Xiaomi Watch Color has a black body and strap that feels strong when worn.

With Xiaomi Watch Color, users can customize to their liking with 6 different colored silicone bands and more than 110 types of watch faces displayed.

Xiaomi Watch Color is equipped with 2 physical buttons including a button to set certain functions such as entering practice mode; Power button to enter / exit menu, press and hold to turn off.

Although the screen is round, the Xiaomi Watch Color has an interface, especially the menu very similar to "MIUI for Watch". Apps in the interface are individually optimized for round screens. For example, swipe the different directions on the screen to access the control center, notifications, sports mode .

The Xiaomi Watch Color has no speakers, so it can only communicate with the user through the screen, just like the Xiaomi Mi Band 4.

Xiaomi's new smartwatch is equipped with a geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, barometric sensor, and a heart rate sensor in real time.

It can recognize exercise posture, calculate movement, calorie expenditure and determine heart rate changes. Xiaomi Watch Color supports 5ATM water resistance, users can still wear it when washing their hands and swimming.

The device is equipped with a 420mAh battery, 3 times the battery of Mi Band 4. This battery capacity is enough for users to use for about 14 days, if the mode of long battery life can be up to 22 days. This is because Watch Color does not have an eSIM, does not use a Snapdragon chip dedicated to smartwatches, does not use WearOS, does not have applications that consume a lot of power. The device supports Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and NFC positioning, so that users can pay bills right on the smartwatch.

Xiaomi Watch Color is expected to sell for 799 CNY (about 2.7 million).
