Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will have two new characters this year

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been out for a long time, Bandai Namco released the game in 2016 and since then, players have received a lot of new content updates in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLCs.

And nearly eight years after the original's launch, developer Bandai Namco has confirmed a major update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 later this year. Last year saw the release of the Hero of Justice Pack 2 DLC, which added Orange Piccolo to the game along with Piccolo (Power Awakening) and Gohan Beast. In addition, other content such as new skills, cosmetics, new Raid Missions and even Super Souls.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 developers have confirmed to players that they will be adding Videl and Android 18 from their Dragon Ball Super release.

And Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has revealed that Android 18 and Videl will be the characters appearing in the next DLC. These characters will appear in DLC in form around Dragon Ball Super which is the opening chapter of the Future Saga DLC released last month.

Android number 18 is Krilin's wife in Dragon Ball and this will be a character with close to mid-range combat techniques, with techniques that can put your character right in front or behind your opponent. Her skills will be Variable Sniper Shot and Steel Mirage.

Videl - Gohan's wife will also excel in close-range attack ability but has speedy fighting techniques. If the player performs Videl's combos in a certain order, she will gain buffs and create a special attack position, while Videl's skills are Seagull Combination and Burning Swan.

Along with that, adding these two characters to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will mean the Future Saga DLC will have 12 more characters.

New parallel missions to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will also be added. These missions will involve various characters, including Android 18 and Videl teaming up with Piccolo in an origin story.

Finally, Dragon ball Xenoverse 2 has confirmed the addition of an accessory and outfit that will allow players to change their character's outfit. Videl will be changed to her red outfit and iconic hairstyle in Dragon Ball Super. As for Android 18, you can change to the outfit you first saw Android or the red sports outfit from Dragon Ball Super.

It's clear that the debut of Videl and Android 18 in Dragon Ball Super, although not the prominent characters that many people love, will have interesting skills that you'll want to try.
