Zalo has 3 million users worldwide

On June 26, Zalo reached the milestone of 3 million members, after touching the 2 million threshold in early May 2013. Every day, about 28 million messages are exchanged through this OTT Viet application.

Of the current 3 million Zalo users , more than 90% are in the adult age: The highest is the age group 18-25, accounting for 60%, 24% of users are in the age group of 26-33, 8% of the group above 33 year old. The group of users under 18 only accounts for 8%.

Currently, Zalo also plans to open its platform for content partners and businesses through the Zalo page feature. In the third quarter, Zalo version on Windows Phone is expected to be released to users.
