Xiaomi Poco F2 officially launched on May 12
In 2018, Xiaomi launched a sub-brand that caught a lot of attention in India, which is Poco. The first smartphone Pocophone F1 was equipped with the most powerful Snapdragon 845 processor at the time, but it was extremely cheap. However, it was not until two years later that Xiaomi decided to launch the official successor of Poco F1.
According to the official Twitter page of Poco recently shared and confirmed, the global launch event of the successor to Poco F1 on May 12, 2020. Poco F2 will continue to inherit its predecessor, and will be the cheapest Snapdragon 865-powered smartphone on the market.
However, some leaked sources claim that Poco F2 will only be the newly renamed version of Redmi K30 Pro, which Xiaomi launched last year in the Chinese market. Poco F2 will also have a pop-up camera design, no borders, and a circular rear camera cluster.
Poco F2 will be equipped with a 6.67 inch FHD + screen. However, the refresh rate is only 60Hz, instead of 120Hz like the Redmi K30 Pro. The internal configuration includes Snapdragon 865 chip, 8GB RAM, 4,700 mAh battery with fast charger 33W.
Redmi K30 Pro.
Currently, there is no information about the selling price. However, the Redmi K30 Pro starts at $ 549. So Poco F2 is likely to have similar prices.
