Why give chocolates to lovers on Valentine's Day?

Chocolate is not only a delicious food but also a symbol of sweet and intense love. Chocolate is always the first choice to give to the guys / girls on Valentine's Day. But when and why did we choose chocolate as a sweet love gift instead of beautiful words in love?

Tasting a piece of chocolate we will feel full of bitter, sweet taste . This is also the taste you experience in love, sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet but always makes people suffer fascinated in it. Chocolate is a blend of emotions, sublimation and romance in love. Therefore, chocolate has become the favorite gift of lovers on Valentine's Day.

According to experts, the Aztecs are the first chocolate users. At that time, chocolate was used as a currency for exchange and a special drink in the nobility.

In Japan, on 14/2 Valentine's Day girls will actively donate chocolates to the boys they love. And as to compensate for women, in this rising Sun country there is a white Valentine's Day on March 14 for the boys to respond to their feelings with a white gift.
