Apple has changed the design of the AirPods Pro 3 compared to the AirPods Pro 2. The new earbuds are narrower due to a reduction in width and deeper due to an increase in depth, helping them sit more securely in the ear. However, the reality is that not everyone can find the right size earbuds. If your AirPods Pro 3 don't fit your ears, you can refer to some of the solutions below.
Try all kinds of earplugs to find the right size.
The latest AirPods Pro 3 come with five sizes of silicone ear tips (XXS, XS, S, M, L). This compares to the AirPods Pro 2, which only had four sizes (XS, S, M, L), and the first-generation AirPods Pro, which only had three sizes (S, M, and L).
When you unbox the AirPods Pro 3, the medium-sized ear tips are already included, along with spare tips. Try the different ear tips until you find the right fit. Alternatively, if your AirPods tend to fall out easily, you can try the larger (L) size ear tips.
Apple has a test to help you find the right earbud tips for your AirPods 3, but you can try this test for reference.
Try different types of AirPods or other wireless headphones.
If the AirPods Pro 3 don't fit your ears, try the AirPods Pro 2. Aside from the new heart rate sensor and slightly better noise cancellation, the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3 aren't drastically different.
If you don't like the Pro models with silicone tips, try the regular AirPods 4 or AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation (ANC).
Finally, if that doesn't work, you can try headphones from another brand, but you should check the quality before deciding to buy them.
