While media companies are dominating the list of the highest salary for CEOs , technology leaders are not inferior. According to a data report by Equilar, a data company that manages remuneration for managers, in 2016 the total number of top 30 CEOs in technology has reached $ 662 million .
This study only considers CEOs working at public companies with revenues of more than $ 1 billion and submitting an authorization report before May 1. Total remuneration for each leader in 2016 including: salary, bonus, total sponsorship value and other remuneration, privilege as security cost.
In the list of the 200 most highly paid CEOs, there are 30 CEOs in the high-tech industry, coming from companies that make everything from semiconductors to cloud computing services.
