Computex 2019 is the world's largest annual event for computers held in Taipei, Taiwan. Here, technology companies will introduce new generation laptop, screen, main products, super unique PC models.
Below is a list of the latest technologies and latest products announced at Computex 2019.
1. Dell launches Alienware laptop m15 and m17 (2019)
Alienware m15 and m17 (2019) are Dell's new gaming laptops, aimed at users who like the sci-fi design of the Alienware Area 51m in a compact chassis.
The redesigned keyboard on the Alienware m15 and m17 (2019) and the larger-sized glass touchpad give a more satisfying feel when typing.
It is equipped with 9th generation Intel chips, from i5-9300H to i9-9980HK and graphics card from GTX 1650 to RTX2080, users can choose according to their needs.
On the screen, users can choose the refresh rate from 60Hz to 240Hz in 1080p resolution. In addition, it also has a 4K resolution OLED screen version, only supports 60Hz refresh rate, equipped with Tobii eye tracking technology.
Alienware m15 and m17 (2019) are also equipped with 8-phase voltage regulator for GPU and 6 phases for CPU, automatic overclocking technology will increase CPU speed without interference.
Both Alienware m15 and m17 (2019) will be available from June 11 with starting prices of 1,500 USD.
2. Nvidia announced a new laptop line called Studio
The new Studio laptop will have 17 units using powerful RTX graphics cards including the Quadro RTX 5000, 4000 or 3000, or GeForce RTX 2080, 2070 or 2060 series. Besides, they are also equipped with dark software. Optimized for content work (photo editing, video making, graphic drawing). These products, produced by Nvidia's partners, are Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI and Razer.
These products are 7 times more efficient than the Apple MacBook Pro, which began selling next month at a starting price of $ 1600.
For Studio laptops using the Quadro RTX 5000 equipped with up to 16GB vRAM, 4K screen and Nvidia Max-Q technology reduce weight and save space. In addition, Studio also added CUDA-X AI software, capable of automatically syncing colors for videos or adding tags for images.
Project Limitless, the first laptop to use Snapdragon 8cx chip, supports 5G
Project Limitless is the first 5G laptop in the world thanks to ARM-based SoC Snapdragon chip, giving it the ability to save battery power and performance.
It also has Qualcomm's Snapdragon X55 5G model, a multi-mode processor chip, integrated LTE network with Cat 22 speed. Users can still use 4G connectivity when there is no 5G.
The camera has very thin screen edges, the webcam is placed on a protruding part in the middle of the upper edge. It only has 2 USB-C ports on the left side and a headphone jack on the right side.
Project Limitless still has no sale price.
