GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City Cheat Codes

Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes from Liberty City contains The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Cheats are entered as phone numbers on the protagonist's in-game mobile phone. Once a valid number has been dialed, it is stored in the phone's Cheats menu for reuse.

Save first. Some cheats can interfere with missions or temporarily block particular achievements and trophies. Keep a clean save and reload it when you want to resume normal progress.

How to enter a cheat

1. Load the episode and wait until the character's phone is available.
2. Open the phone, then open the keypad.
3. Dial the number exactly as shown.
4. Call the number to activate the effect.
5. For later use, open the phone's Cheats menu and select the saved code.

Vehicle cheats need enough open space near the character. If nothing appears, move away from an interior, narrow alley, or blocked road and try again.

Cheats not working?

• Confirm that the code belongs to the episode currently loaded.
• Open the phone keypad rather than entering the number in another menu.
• Move outdoors before using a vehicle-spawn code.
• Reload a save if a mission has disabled phone access.
• Do not confuse Episodes from Liberty City with Liberty City Stories; they are different games with different cheat systems.

The original GTA IV launched in 2008, while the two episodes and their standalone retail collection followed in 2009. Cheats from the episodes should not be assumed to work in Niko Bellic's base-game story.
