Focus on your hero role

Hero characters in Tales of Grimm are many and each of them has different roles. There are 4 types of roles in the game which are:

1. Guardian: people with high defense and endurance.
2. Warrior: This role is a great choice for attack.
3. Mage: offensive role, especially ranged attack.
4. Support: the main role of the team, helping to heal or create a shield (depending on the character's skills) for other characters.

Choose the most effective lineup arrangement

Depending on the heroes the player has, formation is one of the key things about Tales of Grimm. Not all squads can use the same heroes, there are a specific number of heroes that need to be included in the squad to make a team stronger and more efficient.

For example, in the game, the first main line-up only allows the player to place one Guardian type hero in front for effective combat and 2 Support heroes.

Meanwhile, the second formation will be unlocked when the player reaches level 20, allowing 2 Guardian heroes to be placed in front and 1 Support type character.

Upgrade heroes over time

Tales of Grimm offers players to level up heroes all the time. In fact, in this turn-based RPG genre, the higher the hero level will guarantee the player victory every battle.

So level up heroes whenever possible. With all the victories that players receive, they will collect more and more items and resources, which is very important to improve the heroes in possession.
