Snapdragon Control Panel Launched: Optimized Gaming for Snapdragon X Elite PCs

Earlier this year, Qualcomm introduced a beta version of its Adreno Control Panel app for Adreno GPUs on the Snapdragon X Elite platform, which allows gamers and developers to further fine-tune GPU driver options through custom configuration profiles.

Now, the app has officially left beta with a new name: Snapdragon Control Panel . Despite the name change, all the core features remain the same, but the interface and function organization have been made clearer. Users can manage performance, update drivers, and monitor system parameters all in one place.

One convenient point is that the application can automatically detect the games on your device, including those in the Steam library. For each game, you can adjust many parameters such as:

  1. Super resolution
  2. FPS Limit
  3. Anti-aliasing
  4. Anisotropic filtering
  5. Level of detail
  6. Texture filtering

Everything is wrapped up in an 'application profile' system, allowing for game-specific optimization of image quality and performance.

Additionally, the Snapdragon Control Panel also allows users to update GPU drivers . The app will notify you when a new driver version is available and will even install it automatically if you enable this option.

Qualcomm describes the application as follows:

'Designed to support a range of hardware capabilities, including graphics, compute, and AI, it's the hub for customizing and enhancing your Snapdragon device experience. Whether you're a developer, gamer, or power user, it provides system control and future-ready features.'

At the same time, Qualcomm also released a new Adreno driver update with many important improvements:

  1. Bug fixes and optimizations for over 100 games since launch
  2. Improved application and system stability
  3. Support for upgraded graphics driver (UGD) for Snapdragon X2 Elite , expected in 1H 2026

Qualcomm also noted that the Snapdragon X2 Elite will support native AVX2 emulation — an important feature for many games. Existing Snapdragon X Series PCs will also get the AVX2 update in the coming weeks.

Users can download the Snapdragon Control Panel and the latest Adreno drivers directly from Qualcomm for Windows devices running the Snapdragon X Elite.
