According to Anssi Vanjoki, executive vice president at Nokia, the company hopes the device will be cheaper when it comes to consumers by subsidizing network service providers. But according to CCS Insight analyst Geoff Blaber, subsidizing this product by telecom carriers may be difficult. This price may shock consumers because they have the same price as a popular laptop.

Nokia has officially announced the device's specifications from August 24. The device can operate with a continuous use of 12 hours. Product weighing 1.25kg, frame made of aluminum and less than 2cm thick. The device has a 10-inch screen (1280x720 pixel resolution) and can be connected to HDMI high-resolution display port. Booklet 3G is equipped with Intel's Atom Z530 processor with 1.6GHz processor speed, 1GB RAM and 120GB hard drive.

Booklet 3G can access the Internet using HSPA Broadband (High Speed Packet Access) or 802.11n Wi-Fi network. However, the device will not have a built-in modulator (modem).

The product will be shipped in the fourth quarter but Nokia does not provide information on products that will be sold in any country in the world.
