Next year's iPhone will not have TrueDepth on the rear camera
The iPhone X is nearing the date of release, but that doesn't stop tech followers from talking about Apple's next generation of phones.
The latest speculation about Apple's iPhone 2018 is not that it will have any new features, but a prediction it will be nothing. According to analyst Ming Chi Kuo, Apple will not put TrueDepth technology used for the front camera on the iPhone rear camera.
Instead, they will focus on having the goods on time and stabilizing deliveries, avoiding the problems that are still attributed to the iPhone X production process. Previously, Kuo also predicted that TrueDepth would return. become the general standard for all iPhone and iPad later, completely replacing the physical Home button.

TrueDepth will become the norm but not yet
He also said that TrueDepth will eventually go to the rear camera, not just now. This technology is still in its infancy, and there are many problems with supply and production. Kuo believes that Apple still has a lot of work to do to expand the AR and ARKit ecosystem because of its augmented reality function will be one of the main reasons why they use TrueDepth.
We don't know much about Apple's plan for next year but there have been many rumors. A source said that Apple is preparing for two 5.28-inch and 6.46-inch OLED display phones, considered to complement the upcoming 5.8-inch iPhone X.
On the supply side, it is possible that LG will provide battery for iPhone 2018 and OLED screen and the chip is expected to come from Samsung. The new iPhone generation probably won't use Qualcomm chips because Apple is testing chips from Intel and MediaTek, and also due to legal noise with Qualcomm.
As usual, Apple did not comment on rumors and kept its plans confidential.
