In the previous years, according to the Labor Code, employees will be entitled to a Tet holiday in about 5 days, from the last day of the old year to the end of the fourth day, ie from December 29 (lack of month). ) or December 30 through the fourth day of the Lunar New Year. In the last few years, the Ministry's regulations have changed, workers will be off for 2 days before Tet, helping the rural workers to return home to celebrate Tet.
This year, employees can get a Lunar New Year holiday of 9,99 days from December 28, the year of Mau Tuat 2018 (Saturday, February 2, 2019) to the end of January 6, the year of Ky Hoi 2019 (ie Sunday, February 10, 2019 solar calendar).
Currently there are 2 options for taking 30/4 and May 1 in 2019 as follows:
Option 1: Only take 2 days of April 30 and May 1 (ie Tuesday and Wednesday) as usual.
Option 2: Stay 5 days, from Saturday (April 27, 2019) to the end of Wednesday (May 1, 2019), then make up for the next Saturday.
National Day 2018 falls on Sunday, so we will be compensated for a second day, bringing the total number of holidays to 2 to 3 days (depending on whether the agency works on a good Saturday) is not).
Thus, in 2018 we have a total of 18 public holidays for agencies and units that do not work on Saturday. A fairly large number, right? In 2019, the number of holidays is much more. You can now plan to enjoy these holidays right now.
