Create a bootable USB drive with Hiren's BootCD PE
Download link for Hiren's BootCD PE , 1.3GB, but downloads super fast, only taking a few minutes (of course, this depends on your internet speed).
After downloading the Hiren's BootCD PE ISO file, you can use Rufus to create a bootable USB drive as usual. It's super easy with Rufus; just follow the instructions on TipsMake.com.com.
Alternatively, you can use the ISO2USB tool created by the Hiren's BootCD PE development team to copy the ISO file to a USB drive. This tool requires administrator privileges to run, is free, and requires Windows 7 or later. The steps are as follows:
1. Only USB drives are listed in the application's USB Device list. If you don't find your USB drive in this list, try formatting the USB using Windows' default formatting tool (go to My PC/Computer > right-click the USB drive > Format > Restore device defaults > check Quick Format and click Start). Then, click the Refresh button on the right side of the USB Device.
2. If the Hiren's BootCD PE ISO file is saved in the same folder as the iso2usb.exe file, it will be selected automatically. Otherwise, drag and drop the ISO file into the application window or browse to the ISO file manually.
3. You can name your USB drive using uppercase letters and numbers.
4. The application will then ask if you want to continue. Click Yes if you are ready; the USB will be formatted, partitioned, and the data on the USB will be erased. Click Yes again to start the USB boot creation process, and it will then complete if there are no problems.
It seems creating a bootable USB drive with Hiren's BootCD PE is a bit easier than with Hiren's BootCD, right? Have you tried Hiren's BootCD PE yet? What do you think of it? Share your thoughts with us by commenting below.
