Leak the first images of Sony Xperia XA3 with 21: 9 screen

Earlier today, the web was buzzing with information about Sony's upcoming Xperia XZ4 smartphone that could have a screen with a cinematic aspect ratio. This new brand is registered by Sony under the name "CinemaWide" at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

However, the leaked images did not appear to be the Xperia XZ4, but the mid-range product coming out of Sony, Xperia XA3.

These images are posted by the German website WinFuture, showing that an actual phone has no border on the sides and bottom, but has a relatively large border above the screen (probably because front camera and voice speaker).

As its name suggests, CinemaWide screens are much longer than other handheld devices on the market, with an aspect ratio of 21: 9. This design makes the XA3 ideal for watching movies in 2.39: 1 format, as well as any other movie on the phone.

According to 9To5Google, Sony Xperia XA3 is expected to own Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, 3,500mAh battery and at least one 23MP rear camera.

Of course, Sony has yet to confirm any information, although its new smartphone series is expected to be publicly available at the MWC 2019 global mobile exhibition on February 25th. next.
