Alienware M11x is the latest Alienware released by Dell with a starting price of 799 USD. Although the Alienware M11x looks just like an 11.6-inch screen netbook, it's actually a machine for gamers. M11x's design is similar to other Alienware laptops.

To empower gamers, Dell M11x is equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Nvidia GT335M graphics card with 1 GB memory. With this configuration, the machine allows to run Star Trek Online and Call Of Duty games in a smooth and sharp way. M11x's battery life, according to Gadgetmix, is 6 hours when using basic functions and 2 hours for gaming.

The GT355 graphics processor is just a mid-range product for gaming notebook products, however, compared to "tiny" machines, this processor is acceptable. Frame quality of Call of Duty game is stable at 30 frames / sec with 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution. If the maximum level is 1,366 x 768 pixels, the number of frames is not stable.

According to Laptopcheck, M11x is only equipped with Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3 Ghz processor, integrated 3G and wireless connection 802.11 a / b / g / n besides 3 USB ports, HDMI, Displayport, reading slot Cards, VGA, Firewire, line out / in, RJ45 and sim slots are all designed on the left and right sides of the device.

With the above configuration and the price of USD 799, Alienware M11x is not really satisfying for professional gamers. However, Dell said, users have the right to require a higher configuration upgrade for different prices.
