Messenger's end-to-end encryption feature enhances the security and privacy of your messages and calls. Only you and the person you're chatting with can see, read your messages, or listen to your calls. When logging into Messenger on another device, you'll need to set up a PIN to access your end-to-end encrypted messages. Below are instructions on how to enable Messenger end-to-end encryption.

Step 1:
On the Messenger app interface, tap the three horizontal lines icon in the upper left corner. Next, on the new interface, tap the gear icon .
Step 2:
To access the Messenger app options, tap on Privacy & Security settings . Then tap on End-to-End Encrypted Chats . You will then see the option for Messenger's end-to-end encryption; tap on Secure Storage .
Step 3:
We will tap on Enable Secure Storage to turn on Messenger's end-to-end encryption feature. In this new interface, you will have the option to create your own Messenger end-to-end encryption PIN or use the 40-character code provided by Messenger.
The interface will display a 6-character PIN of your choice.
So, we have successfully enabled end-to-end encryption on Messenger. When you log into your Messenger account on another device, you will need to enter your PIN to view the encrypted messages in your Messenger account.
