Instructions for syncing your YouTube channel to NotebookLM
Step 1:
We access the link below to install the YouTube to NotebookLM extension on the Chrome browser.
- Download the YouTube to NotebookLM extension.
Step 2:
Navigate to the YouTube channel you want to use as a source for NotebookLM. Click on the video within the YouTube channel you want to use , then select the NotebookLM button below the channel, as shown in the image below.
At this point, you will be asked whether to create a new NotebookLM or save it. Choose to create a new notebook to immediately switch to the NotebookLM interface.
Step 3:
As a result, we will see the YouTube video source in the NotebookLM interface along with a video summary. Users can then continue to perform operations on the YouTube video source they want to quickly sync within NotebookLM.
Step 4:
To add a YouTube channel to your sources on NotebookLM , click on the YouTube channel name , then click the NotebookLM button , and then select Choose NotebookLM from the list that appears.
Now you can select the notebook in NotebookLM that you want to add all the videos from this YouTube channel to.
As a result, you will see all the videos in the channel displayed in the notebook on NotebookLM.

The same applies to playlists on YouTube . Open the playlist on your YouTube channel, then look to the side and select the NotebookLM button , and then choose the notebook you want to add this playlist to.
