Developed by Clever Beans, Gods Will Fall is set in a world where tyrannical gods claiming absolute devotion of man have ruled humanity for millennia. Bored of the oppression, every man and woman can take up arms and set out on their way to the island of the gods to overthrow them.

Before the human uprising, the gods caused a great storm that overturned every boat along the way. And your adventure starts here. Control 8 different Celtic warriors who have washed ashore, you must venture into the realm of each god and destroy them.

Before starting the mortal battles with the evil gods, you will be given a short tutorial that introduces the combat system of Gods Will Fall. Combat is a combination of heavy attacks, light weight and dodge. Each weapon brings its own unique and interesting feeling in use. You can perform a short jump to dodge, block enemy attacks, and especially take down the target while on their back before jumping down. What's even better is that players can pick up a dropped weapon from a defeated enemy and throw it at the next target to decrease their health a bit before going face-to-face.

After exiting the guide, you are free to wander around the giant island and challenge any deity of your choice. Each play is a random group of 8 warriors from character classes with different stats and appearance. Some will carry heavy weapons and have a slow movement speed, while others move and attack quickly.

The game center is a large island with 10 dungeons and a well that will reward you with certain items in exchange for the things you throw in it. Each deity resides in a dungeon filled with enemies that you will have to defeat. Go to the end of the dungeon, and you will face off against a specific deity there.

Guided by the player, warriors travel across the map, entering the lair of the gods to destroy their armies and eventually the gods themselves. Only one warrior could enter one dungeon at a time, the rest would wait for news of their comrades outside. If a warrior is caught on a mission inside, the dungeon door will open, alerting those outside that they must save their companion or leave him behind.

Once you succeed in destroying the dungeon boss, you will be rewarded with weapons equal to the difficulty of that dungeon and possibly some buffs or debuffs. You can equip a few weapons for your warriors, helping them increase the strength for the next battle.

When you arrive at a specific dungeon, the characters can reveal their feud with that dungeon god. As a result, they will gain a bit more strength or vitality. Other characters may reveal that particular dungeon which terrifies them and will lower their stats if entering. All of this makes it easier for you to choose a character for each dungeon and know if they have a chance of successfully escaping.

As mentioned above, if your characters fail in the fight, they will get lost in the dungeon. You can completely free them from the prison, but only if you can defeat the god at the end of the dungeon. Of course, your character can also die permanently if they get hit with a finishing blow. Characters can form relationships and feel more inspired to save their friends and be freed that can make them more determined to fight, or the horror they experience because of possible failure. making them less likely to be active in the future. So the lots of character interactions and reactions in the game really bring your little army to life in fun and unique ways.It makes you feel more attached to your team and helps you shape your strategy to decide who should go to which dungeon and when.

The random dungeon difficulty level and Gods Will Fall rewards are what helps keep the game interesting. You never know if the next dungeon you enter is a daunting ordeal. As the difficulty of a dungeon increases, you not only see the number and variety of monsters increasing, but you can also see that the layout of the dungeon has changed.

Overall, Gods Will Fall is a very well-designed and developed game for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and it's really fun to play, though there are some crashes popping up in the process. game player, mostly technical issues, such as game pause, freeze for a few seconds before starting again. The combination of gameplay, dungeon variety, storyline, and interesting content will probably make you want to play it over and over again, especially if you want to explore the different difficulty levels of each dungeon and watch. A closer look at what each level actually delivers.
