Formula 1 racing recorded with GameBoy's resolution of 0.016MP will be this interesting
GameBoy is the legendary gaming machine launched 20 years ago (1998) with a resolution of only 0.016MP. Tim Binnion, Photographer and also a "big fan" of Formula 1 racing, used it to record the Chinese Grand Prix 2018 race in Shanghai. Although the image quality from the GameBoy Camera is not honest, the photos taken by it still have their own unique features.
Binnion said, he came up with the idea of shooting racing with GameBoy Camera when watching F1 shooting photos by Joshua Paul's 1913 Graflex 4x5 camera, the images of Moon and Jupiter by Alexander Pietrow also made GameBoy Camera.
Binnion's set of tools includes: 8 USD zoom lens for smartphone, a mod that allows to save images to SD card (because GameBoy Camera can only store 30 photos at once).
And as a result of looking at photos of Binnion, we will see F1 cars on the track that look exactly like the screenshots of a GameBoy game.
So great with such a 'special' camera, isn't it?
