Step 1 : Preparation

Step 2 : Open VirtualBox, click the  New button  to start creating a new virtual machine and set it up as shown in the image.

In the next dialog box, click Next.

Press Create to begin the process.

Select VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) and press Next.

In the new dialog box that appears, click Next.

Press Create

Step 3 : Install Android-x86

Click on Store, select Empty , then click on the CD icon, and select the Android-x86 ISO file you downloaded earlier.

After completing the setup, click Start to run the program.

Then, a settings window will appear with options for you to choose from; select the last option.

Next, select  Create/Modify partitions  in the following window.

Using the keyboard, select  New  to create a new partition, then press Enter.

Select  Primary  and press Enter, then press Enter again to confirm the new partition size.

Next, select  Bootable  and press Enter. Then select  Write  and press Enter.

You will receive a Yes/No question; type  Yes at the prompt  and press Enter.

Then select  Quit  and press Enter.

The screen will take you back to the Choose Partition window; select the first option and press Enter.

Select the format as  ext3  , then click  OK  to format the newly created partition.

Continue clicking  Yes

Then select Run Android-x86 and click OK.

 You just need to wait for Android to load and set it up according to the on-screen instructions, and you're done.
