Cheap iPhone reveals new design
Majin Bu account recently posted a tweet on X providing an image of a case believed to be for the iPhone SE 4 .
As previous rumors and predictions suggested that the iPhone SE 4 will have a major design overhaul and this new leaked information from Majin Bu also confirms that.
The iPhone SE 3 series originally used the design language of the iPhone 8, with Touch ID and an old-fashioned screen. Now, it looks like Apple plans to say goodbye to the old design and bring something modern to its new low-cost iPhone.
Accordingly, the case photo shows that the iPhone SE 4 may borrow the design of the iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, instead of the 4.7-inch LCD of the iPhone SE 3.
Along with that is the appearance of the "rabbit ears" containing Face ID, first appearing with the iPhone SE series. Previous reports said that iPhone SE 4 could use a 6.1-inch screen provided by BOE. So, the SE 4's screen will be a major upgrade compared to the previous iPhone SE. With the appearance of a "rabbit ear" containing Face ID, the Home button will no longer be available on iPhone SE 4.
On the back, the leaked case shows a single camera sensor accompanied by an LED flash. It looks like the camera lens will be larger, however, there won't be an additional ultra-wide or other lens, perhaps to keep the price lower of the SE series. The 48MP camera lens will be a significant upgrade from the previous 12MP camera on the previous iPhone SE.
On the side of the iPhone SE 4, you can see the mute button located above the volume rocker. Previously, the iPhone SE 4 was rumored to have the Action button currently on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, the leaked phone case shows the opposite.
The Action button replaces the position of the vibration lever on the side of the bezel of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, allowing iPhone users to press and hold the button to quickly access and activate functions that they need. No need to unlock the screen. This button will respond to the user with vibrations to notify that the function has been turned on/off.
If Action really does not appear on iPhone SE 4, this will certainly be a pity for Apple's next generation low-cost iPhone model, when rumors say all upcoming iPhone 16 will be Equipped with this feature.
The price of iPhone SE 4 is also something that users are very interested in. iPhone SE 3 starts at $429 for the 64GB model, the 128GB variant starts at $479, and the 256GB model starts at $579. Although this is a cheaper iPhone model, however, with new upgrades, iPhone SE 4 will likely increase in price compared to its predecessor.
