After launching its first pair of laptops using the USB 3.0 standard, the N82 and N61, Asus said it plans to include it in many of its other models. In addition to developing the N series laptop with the first two models, Asus will also include this USB standard in the Eee Box 1510U, 1210U models and notebooks like Eee PC 1018, 1016 and 1015.
Asus's latest integrated USB products are likely to be released this year.
Asus is currently the first manufacturer to release motherboard products compatible with USB 3.0. Meanwhile, HP is the first to include this standard in its notebook product with the Envy 15 model.
The new USB 3.0 interface is intended to replace the "Hi-Speed" standard of the current USB 2.0 interface. USB 3.0 data exchange rate is 10 times USB 2.0, reaching 5 GB per second. USB 3.0 is gradually being introduced by manufacturers into their products such as desktops, laptops, phones .
