Acer launched Swift 7 (2019), 9.85mm thin, weighs 890grams, priced from $ 1,699

At the ongoing CES event, Acer has released the new Swift 7 update (2019) with many significant improvements in design.

The Swift 7 version (2019) is only 9.95 mm thin, less than 1 cm, its weight is only 890 grams.

Acer has used magnesium-lithium and aluminum-magnesium alloys, which are four times stronger than standard aluminum alloys to create a cover for Swift 7 (2019). Therefore, this laptop, despite its slim and unimaginable design, is still very sturdy.

In addition, the screen of the Swift 7 (2019) was also protected by Acer with Corning Gorilla Glass toughened glass 6.

Swift 7 (2019) is equipped with a screen with dimensions of 14 inches, 1,980 x 1,080 pixels resolution, with sensors. This new Swift version is really impressive with a screen rate of up to 92%, the bezel is so thin that it almost disappears, which was previously only available on smartphones. Also because the screen border is so thin, Acer had to design pop-up cameras that pop out from the keyboard.

In terms of hardware, the Swift 7 (2019) is equipped with the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7-8500Y processor, 8G or 16GB RAM, optional SSD PCIe 256GB or 512GB capacity. The battery life of Swift 7 (2019) can be up to 10 hours per charge. The device is equipped with two USB Type-C ports, a backlit keyboard.

This lightweight ultra-thin laptop starts at $ 1,699 and will be officially released in May.
