But in a presentation to his company employees, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed his desire to build a real metaverse. Later, in an interview with The Verge, Zuckerberg said, "you can think of it [metaverse] as the successor to the mobile Internet," while acknowledging that "it's definitely not something that anyone can't do."
