Understanding Domain-to-IP Resolution
A domain can resolve directly to an origin server, to a load balancer, or to edge addresses operated by a content delivery network. Large services often return several addresses and can vary the answer by location.
The result should not be treated as a permanent server identity. DNS rotation, anycast, proxying, and CDN use can change the returned address without changing the public website. An address also does not prove who owns or controls the site.
