Microsoft Azure is a constantly expanding suite of cloud services designed to help you, your organization, or your business overcome business challenges. Users can freely create, manage, and deploy applications across a global network using their preferred tools and frameworks. But first, sign up for Azure to create your account now.

Register to create a Microsoft Azure account.

Previously, registering for an Azure account , learning about it, and experiencing it was extremely difficult for Vietnamese users. At that time, if users wanted to register for an Azure account, they had to ask friends or relatives abroad to help them. However, this barrier has now been removed, as Microsoft has officially launched Azure in Vietnam.

In this tutorial, TipsMake will help you create a free Azure account if you are still a student and not yet earning money. We'll also show you how to register for Azure with credit/debit card information for payment.

Azure registration guide

To register for Azure, you need to prepare the following:

- You will need a Hotmail, Live Mail, or Outlook Mail account – meaning you need to have an account registered at live.com. If you don't have an account yet, create a Microsoft account  following the instructions here. It's best to register with information that matches your VISA or Mastercard.

- You need a VISA or Mastercard from any bank. You need a minimum balance of 1 USD in your account, as this 1 USD will be deducted during registration and later refunded. Please note that each VISA card can only be used for registration once.

- A phone number is required to verify the message during registration. Please note that this phone number must not have been previously registered with Azure.

1. Register for Azure if you are a student, still in school, and do not yet have a student ID card.

Microsoft currently has a support program for students, so if you don't have a VISA or Mastercard, you can use the free plan by following these registration steps:

Step 1: Access Microsoft Azure directly HERE

Next, click Activate Now to log in.

Step 2: Log in as usual using your Microsoft account (the account you registered at live.com).

Step 3: Next, select the Verification Method as School Email Address -> then, enter your email address in the two fields as shown in the image below. The top field is for entering your email address, and the bottom field is for re-entering that email address. Note that this is the email address you use at school; this email address is usually provided by the school where you study.

Step 4: After entering the information, click on "Verify academic status ." Microsoft will send a confirmation email to the email address you provided. Access the email you just entered and follow the instructions in the email. Once completed, you will have a free Azure account to enjoy.

The image below shows the notification that Azure sends a confirmation email to activate the Azure subscription for student users.

2. Register for Azure if you are a graduate and have a credit card.

With this method, you will need a credit card or MasterCard to register. If you don't have one yet, you need to find out what a MasterCard is, where to get one, and which banks offer it -> please refer to the link on TipsMake for more information.

Once you have the card, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Visual Studio Dev Essentials page by clicking directly HERE.

Next, click on Join or Access Now , then log in with your Microsoft account as instructed in Part 1 above.

A confirmation screen will appear when you log in; select Confirm to agree.

Step 2: After successfully logging in, you will see the offers for this Dev Essential package appear.

Please click on Activate below the word Azure to activate it.

Step 3: You will immediately be redirected to a new tab -> here, enter your email and phone number to confirm.

After verification is complete, you will then enter your credit card or Mastercard information. Follow the instructions, then click Next to continue. After that, complete the remaining steps to finish registering for Azure.

Step 4: Log in to Azure with the account you just created.

After creating your Azure account, go directly to https://portal.azure.com HERE and log in using the account you created.

When you see the Azure Dashboard , it means your account has been successfully created -> click on "Start tour" to get ready to experience and complete the demos.

The image below shows the interface when you access the Dashboard:
