The best chapters with the most characters in Demon Slayer
Demon Slayer is a series filled with memorable storylines, breathtaking action scenes, and impressive character interactions. These storylines do a great job of portraying the world & conflict between demons and humans.
The Demon Slayer series does not hesitate to introduce a huge cast of heroes and villains. Most of these characters play important roles in the main storylines, with conflicts taking place extremely dramatically.
Mugen Train
A Lower and Upper Moon Demon has a chance to shine
- Episode 27-33
In Mugen Train, Tanjiro and his companions along with the Fire Hashira investigate the disappearance of humans. Enmu wastes no time in incapacitating the main characters, but Tanjiro and the others wake up from their dreams and pursue the Inferior Moon Demon.
The ensuing battle was epic, but nothing could have prepared the audience for the appearance of Akaza. This Third-Class Upper Moon Demon wasted no time in demonstrating his power in an incredible battle with Rengoku. Despite his exhaustion, the Fire Hashira did everything he could to save the children from this demon by holding Akaza off until sunrise, achieving that goal at the cost of his own life.
Mount Nagatumo
The Pillars join the epic battle
- Episode 15-21
Mount Nagatumo is where things get real in Demon Slayer. This part shines with the fight between Rui and Tanjiro. However, Zenitsu and Inosuke also get a chance to impress the other members of Rui's mutant spider family.
Giyu & Shinobu also arrived to investigate the incident, both Pillars showed their incredible strength by easily taking down the villains everyone was up against. This showed the skill of these elite swordsmen.
Entertainment District
Tengen and the Apprentice Demon Hunters investigate mysterious disappearances
- Episode 34-44
After a gruesome battle on the Mugen Ship, Tanjiro and his teammates are joined by another Pillar on their journey. This time, Uzui Tengen, along with the Sound Pillar, tries to investigate the disappearance of the wives in the Entertainment District.
The result leads to Daki and Gyutaro being revealed to be two demon brothers who both hold the title of Upper Rank 6 Demon Moon. The ensuing battle is fierce, with the Demon Slayers taking victory from the defeated and giving hope to the remaining ones that the Upper Rank Demon Moon can finally be defeated.
Swordsmith Village
Even without Zenitsu and Inosuke, other characters still have a chance to shine
- Episode 45-55
Even without Zenitsu and Inosuke in this particular adventure, the Twelve Demon Pillars still shine in the Swordsmith Village arc of Demon Slayer. Genya also gets to show off his demonic powers and unique fighting style, completely different from any other character in the series.
The two Upper Moons, Gyokko and Hantengu, are no ordinary beings and push the heroes to their limits. Fortunately, Muichiro awakens his Demon Slayer Seal just in time to defeat the Fifth Upper Moon, while Hantengu is eventually beheaded after a fierce battle with all of his personalities.
Rehabilitation Training
The Hashira are introduced in the game-changing story arc of the series.
- Episode 22-26
After the terrifying confrontation at Mount Natagumo, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke must train harder than ever to improve their skills. In addition to mastering techniques like Full Concentration: Breathing, the Pillars and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps are also in the spotlight.
This is a great arc to relax as the world of Demon Slayer expands. It helps the heroes become stronger, which is necessary, since they will start fighting the Upper Moons from now on.
