In this article, let's explore all the weather conditions in Grow A Garden and the effects they have on plants to help players maximize their garden's profits.
The Grow a Garden game mode on Roblox features various weather phenomena that can create favorable conditions for plant growth at any time. Some phenomena occur regularly, others are tied to events, and some can only be triggered by the game mode's administrator. This guide will provide an overview of all the weather phenomena in Grow a Garden and how they work, so you know what happens when a phenomenon is triggered on the Roblox server you're playing on.
Current symbols often lead to your plants being mutated, which usually means they will sell for a higher price at the store.
Weather types in Grow A Garden
Grow A Garden offers a number of unique weather phenomena, each affecting the garden in its own way. Some help accelerate growth, while others create opportunities for mutations that make fruits and vegetables many times more valuable.
Understanding the effects of each weather type will help players decide when to plant, when to water, and which plants yield the highest profits. Below is a summary table of the weather types available in Grow A Garden:

Heatwave
Summer brings heat to Grow a Garden, along with a new weather event. During the Heatwave event, the sun shines its rays down on plants randomly. This has a chance of causing plants to mutate into the Sundried form. The selling price of these mutated plants is multiplied by 85.
Windy
Another weather event that has become permanent in Grow a Garden is Windy. When it occurs, the screen becomes hazy due to strong gusts of wind blowing through the lobby. During this event, random plants will receive the Windstruck mutation, doubling their selling price.
Tropical Rain
In addition to the familiar rainy weather, Grow a Garden has added Tropical Rain to its event rotation. This weather not only helps fruit grow 50% faster, but also induces the Drenched mutation. Fruit with this mutation will have thicker water droplets and its selling price will be five times higher.
Drought
Alongside Tropical Rain, the Drought event was also added. This weather removes all water, turning the play area into a dry, barren yellow, and also creates Wilt mutations.
Aurora
Aurora is one of the rare weather events that transforms the sky into a spectacular spectacle. When the event occurs, the hall turns a magical purple. Crops and fruits will grow 50% faster, and there is a high chance of Aurora mutations occurring.
Sandstorm
Before the dinosaur event, Grow a Garden kicked off with the Sandstorm event. During this event, sandstorms swept through the lobby, making you squint due to the swirling dust. As the storm unfolded, fruits also had a chance to receive the Sandy mutation.
Note: Many of the weather phenomena mentioned above can only be triggered by administrators, such as Jandel. Others are time-limited events and may not reappear in the game after they end. However, administrators can allow these events to return whenever they wish if they choose to trigger them. There is no fixed schedule or rule for administrator-triggered events to occur. They are triggered randomly when administrators want to "gift" them to players in the game. Therefore, you just need to be lucky and hope you are playing the game at the time one of them witnesses the event firsthand.
