With Humata AI, learning and research become simpler, more time-saving, and more accessible than ever before. Below is a detailed tutorial.
Guide to reading and understanding PDF files using Humata
Step 1:
First, access the link below to go to the Humata website and register an account.
https://app.humata.ai/Next, on the main Humata interface, click "Upload file" to upload the PDF file . Note that free accounts have a limit on the number of PDF pages, so you need to pay attention; otherwise, you will receive an error message.
Step 2:
After uploading, select the PDF file . You can upload multiple files with the same content for Humata to analyze. If you need to analyze multiple files, select those PDF files, then click "Ask" in the upper right corner to begin the analysis.
Step 3:
Switch to the chat interface with Humata regarding the PDF file. You will have 3 file extraction modes : Fast, Visual, and Thinking, ranging from simple to complex.
We enter our question about the PDF file and then wait for Humata to respond. For example, with the "Thiking" mode for a question about the main content of this document, Humata responds in great detail, summarizing the entire content in a clear, easy-to-understand structure, including all the main points.
Step 4:
In each reply from Humata, you will see a number, which is the page number of the PDF file. Each reply begins with a page number as a reference. When you click on that page number, the page content will immediately appear next to it.
Step 5:
Below each reply, there will be icons; you can copy the reply content from Humata.
Additionally, we can click the bookmark icon to save bookmarks on Humata.
To access bookmarks on Humata, simply click the Humata icon next to the document title.
