How to defragment your hard drive using UltraDefrag
If you don't already have the software, you can download the latest version of UltraDefrag.
(Note: UltraDefrag supports Vietnamese, so during installation you should select Vietnamese as the default language for ease of use.)
Step 1 : Click to select each partition on your hard drive that you want to defragment (e.g., C, D, E.). Then click on Actions/Analysis (or click on the magnifying glass icon on the toolbar) to have the program perform the hard drive defragmentation.
Step 2 : After the program finishes running, it will display a message about the status of the hard drive.
You click on Actions. The program provides users with several different modes to choose from, namely:
- Defragmentation : This is the standard defragmentation mode.
- Fast Optimization : This is a fast defragmentation mode; the process is quick but does not achieve high results.
- Full Optimization : This is the most effective defragmentation mode, but it takes a long time.
From there, users can choose from various options to defragment their hard drives.
To check the program's results, you should use the Analyze function again.
