Step 3: Connect CoSchedule to Instagram
- After creating the calendar, on the home screen, tap on the name of the calendar you just created and select Settings.
- In calendar settings, select Social Profiles. Scroll down and select Connect an Instagram profile .
- In the new window that appears, log in to your Instagram account and then tap Authorize.
So, you have now added your Instagram account to the list of managed accounts in CoSchedule.
Step 4: Create a post and schedule it to be published on Instagram.
- After adding the account, hover your mouse over the colored circle in the left column. In that menu, select Calendar to access the calendar interface.
- In the calendar interface, hover your mouse over the day you want to create the post and click the pen icon in the box for that day.
- In the window that appears, select Social Message.
- On the post creation interface, tap on Select a social profile and then choose your Instagram account.
- Write your status update in the blank space in the middle. Then you can add an image if you select the Image tab or add a video if you select the Video tab .
- To add photos, click the camera icon at the bottom. Select photos from your computer and wait for the system to upload them.
- After uploading the image, click on the date and time section to schedule the post.
- There are several options such as posting after 1, 3, or 5 hours, or you can set your own time with Custom Time. Then press Add Messages to confirm publishing the post.
- After setting the timer, you will see your post icon in the selected calendar box. You can also tap on it to edit the post information.
