Opera Lab, the desktop browser that supports the Ethereum blockchain

In August, Opera released a desktop version for a pre-encrypted browser called Opera Lab. With a built-in pre-coding, this special browser allows users to process funds on the Ethereum blockchain and can operate in a native way with decentralized applications on this network.

Currently, this browser is only for testers and will release an official version for regular users next time.

For those who have early access to Opera Lab, they can pair their e-wallets on the desktop with the mobile browser version for Opera for Android. This means that when you text or register a transaction on Ethereum, your smartphone will prompt you to confirm by fingerprint scanning.

The phone's hardware will store the private key that is associated with the e-wallet and should never be transmitted. So this approach is relatively secure for storing pre-coding. Of course there are other better ways to help you keep your funds safe on smartphones.

Opera said that their pre-encrypted browser now supports both cryptocurrency and Ethereum-based applications.

Currently, Opera is interested in expanding its encryption features to other blockchain networks, but specific details have yet to be revealed.
