Instructions on how to create wall art in Minecraft.
1. Introduction to the paintings in Minecraft
Currently, the paintings in Minecraft don't appear naturally anywhere in the world; players need to create them. There are currently 26 paintings in the game. For some reason, paintings facing north or south in Minecraft appear brighter than those facing east or west.
Besides their decorative purpose, paintings are most often used to conceal a passageway into a player's secret base. Players and mobs can pass through the paintings, as long as the blocks supporting the paintings allow it.
2. How to create artwork in Minecraft version 1.18
Step 1: Prepare the materials
- The paintings can be created quite easily, as they don't require any rare blocks. The only things you need are 8 sticks and 1 piece of wool (any color). Players can obtain sticks by using 2 pieces of planks or bamboo . The piece of wool , on the other hand, can only be harvested from sheep. Using shears to shear a mature sheep will yield 1-3 pieces of wool .
Step 2: Crafting the picture
- Open the crafting table , place the piece of wool in the center, then place 8 sticks around it. When placed correctly, a picture will appear in the small box.
Step 3: Place the painting
- Simply hold the painting in your hand and place it wherever you want.
When placed, a picture will appear that fits the space where it's placed (the picture appears randomly and is of that size). Players can add blocks around the picture to ensure it's the desired size. Pictures in Minecraft come in sizes 1x1, 2x1, 2x2, 4x2, 4x3, and 4x4. If you want to create all the pictures in Minecraft, place them based on the list in section 3.
