Archaeologists have found a treasure of 20 unusual Bronze Age stone tools unlike any other material found before in a location in England.

Specifically, researchers from the Clwydian Archeology Group (CRAG) have discovered about 20 different sized triangular hand tools, in the excavation area in Wales.

These tools seem to have been intentionally stored - perhaps ceremonial objects dating from about 4,500 years ago, the researchers said. These tools are rough limestone plaques, created with a specific pointy tip, the researchers said.

These tools vary in size from 5 to 14 cm. However, all have sharp features or at one end only, the remaining ends are worn out due to the impact of impact .

Ian Brooks, an archaeologist at CRAG, said: " I have not seen anything like them before, and I talked to some colleagues about never seeing anything like them ." Although the purpose of these tools is unknown, and future research works of the archaeological team will include the examination of these mysterious instruments in more detail, but a hypothesis posed It is possible that these tools were used to remove decorative designs on the stone surface, Brooks said.

" One of the things that you often see in the Bronze Age is the style of decoration on natural stones and stone faces, creating things like cuts, carvings, so much like similar tools are needed So this point fits perfectly with the style, the size of the stone tools just found above, '' Brook said.
